Programs

Magnolia Project’s programs are semester-long career exploration and apprenticeship pathways for middle or high school students that incentivize engagement and attendance while preparing students for their future.

All pathways include:

A young woman with dark curly hair, wearing a white top and black hoodie, smiling with her eyes closed as she touches a brown horse's face, inside a horse stable.

Personalized curriculum

Personalized curriculum in which students identify their passions and career interests, explore community and economic needs, and develop work-readiness competencies.

Two men wearing welding helmets working together on a woodworking project in a workshop.

Hands-on work experience

Hands-on work experience alongside a trusted industry mentor.

A young boy in a blue polo shirt holding a fire hose with supervision from a firefighter in uniform during a fire safety demonstration.

Reflection and presentations

Reflection and presentations of learning and support with developing and sharing a plan for life after high school.

The Magnolia Project experience taught me how to prepare myself for an interview, and helped me think about what I want to do in the future.
